Following the success of Proms '25, we're delighted to bring you not only Proms '26 but also a second concert the following evening - A Night at the Movies: The Best of Williams & Zimmer.
Join us at Robin Hill on Sunday 12th July for an unforgettable evening of film music beneath the stars. Designed as an immersive experience for all ages, this concert will bring the magic of cinema to life as we celebrate the very best of two iconic Hollywood composers.
We'll open with captivating performances from acclaimed violinist Lizzie Ball and internationally renowned pianist James Pearson, before the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra takes you on a musical journey through the worlds of John Williams and Hans Zimmer. From Star Wars and Jurassic Park to Harry Potter, the concert will showcase some of the most recognisable and beloved film music ever written.
We'll close the evening with a breath-taking drone light show inspired by the iconic film scores performed by the orchestra. Created by aerial display specialists LumaNation, the show will transform the night sky into a cinematic spectacle, providing a fitting finale to a very special evening.
Pack a picnic, gather the family and enjoy a spectacular night of movie music in a beautiful setting.
Gates will open from 5pm and the concert is due to finish by 10pm.
